How do receptionists decide whether to approve or decline an inquiry?

As a new host at Guesty, you go through an onboarding process that allows us to get to know you and your preferences as a host. During the onboarding process, you are asked to fill out a questionnaire that addresses all of your guest screening requirements, from preferred guest type to booking details and specifics.

 

 

From then on, each time you receive a guest inquiry, our receptionists will compare the details of that inquiry to your indicated screening preferences. This way, we are sure to approve only guests whom you yourself would approve. Some hosts may have screening preferences that aren’t addressed in the questionnaire. If you wish to specify additional screening preferences for our receptionists to follow when approaching an inquiry, you can always send those preferences to us at support@guesty.com.
