White-Labeled Communication

All of the email-based communication that goes in and out from Guesty (via Inbox, Hooks, etc) has to go through specific domains that are routed by Guesty. Most of the users use the default domain of @user.guesty.com, but in some cases there is a need to white label the domain and replace it with a different one. 

How to set up a white label domain for Guesty?

1. First, you need to buy/utilize a domain that will be dedicated to that cause. It means that you can use an existing domain you already own by creating a new subdomain or use the regular domain as long as you aren't already using it for email services (i.e. your work email is not example@company.com).

2. Send us a request for your personal documentation - before you can start the process, you will need to receive specific information from us. Please send us the request alongside the relevant domain (or subdomain) you wish to use. The request should be sent to support@guesty.com.

3. Go to your DNS provider that you use to manage your domain. Common providers include GoDaddy, NameCheap, Network Solutions, Rackspace Email & Apps, Rackspace Cloud DNS and Amazon Route 53.

4. Follow the instructions as they appear inside the documentation we send you - the documentation is pretty easy to follow and includes the relevant routing info you need to fill in your DNS provider's site. This process includes three main things: (1) ability to send emails, (2) ability to receive emails and (3) ability to track who opened and clicked your emails. 

5. Once you have finished the previous steps, tell us! This way we will know we can close the last ties needed on our end.

6. After we send you the OK, you can create your own new integrations from inside the Guesty Dashboard.
