Two-factor authentication

Multifactor authentication (MFA) is a security system that requires more than one method of authentication from independent categories of credentials to verify the user’s identity for a login or other transaction. Two-factor authentication (also known as 2FA) is a type, or subset, of multi-factor authentication. It is a method of confirming users' claimed identities by using a combination of two different factors.

Multi-factor authentication could drastically reduce the incidence of online identity theft and other online fraud, because your password would no longer be enough to give a thief permanent access to their information.

Whenever you log in from a new device or browser, we will ask you to confirm your identity via email. To make sure your Guesty experience isn't affected, the new login process is quick and simple. You just go to the email we sent you, click on the link - and that's it! You won't need to think about it again until you try to log in from a new device or browser.

The verification email is valid for 24 hours.

We save the last 10 devices/browser you used.
